The age question
When the game first starts, it asks the player's age. We use the answer, and the device's country setting, to place the player in a group: child (under 13, or under the local digital-consent age where that is higher), teen (from that age to 17) or adult. The game saves only the group on the device. It does not save the age or birthday you type, and does not send them to us. Online features start only after this choice.
What the game handles
| Information | Why | Who it applies to |
|---|---|---|
| Progress and settings on your device: scores, coins, levels, unlocks, cosmetics, achievements, daily rewards, minigame records, sound and language | To run the game | Everyone. Stays on the device unless listed below. |
| An anonymous account ID from Firebase Authentication | Cloud save and protecting progress from cheating | Everyone who uses online features |
| Cloud copy of progress, including coin balance, event progress and rewards | Cloud save, checking rewards, preventing duplicates | Everyone who uses online features |
| Play days: first and last day played, and whether you came back after 1 and 7 days | To count, in totals only, how many players return | Everyone who uses online features |
| Stage statistics: runs started, quit and won per stage | Added to daily totals with no account ID, to find stages that are too hard | Teens and adults only |
| Boss Blitz best times and Flock Together win counts | Rankings show a position only (such as "#3 of 40"), never a name | Players who join those events |
| Email address and password (password handled only by Firebase) | Optional account linking to recover progress; verification and password-reset emails | Teens and adults who choose it |
| Google or Apple sign-in: an account ID from Google or Apple and your email address (an Apple private relay address if you hide your email); from Google, also the name and profile picture on your Google account, which we don't use. See Signing in with Google or Apple. | Optional sign-in to recover progress | Teens and adults who choose it (Google on Android, Apple and Google on iPhone) |
| The invite code you entered, its affiliate, and the list price of your purchases up to the first $50 | The one-time invite reward, and paying the affiliate their share. Affiliates see totals only. | Teens and adults who enter a code |
| Purchase records: product, store order reference, receipt identifier (Google purchase tokens are hashed), items granted or refunded | Deliver, verify, restore and refund purchases | Anyone who buys something |
| Security data: IP address, app and device integrity results, installation IDs, SDK versions, sign-in events, server logs | Keep the game and accounts secure | Everyone who uses online features |
| Crash reports (error details and app version, with no account ID or email) | Fix crashes | Currently off for everyone. Never collected from children. |
| Support emails you send us | To answer you | Anyone who contacts support |
The game does not ask for your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone. It has no advertising, no advertising IDs, and no analytics or tracking tools from other companies. The rating prompt some teens and adults see is shown by Apple or Google; we receive nothing from it.
Service providers: Google (Firebase and Google Cloud, including App Check), Google Play (purchases and Play Integrity), Apple (App Store, App Attest and DeviceCheck), Stripe (affiliate payouts only) and Google Workspace (support email).
Children and parents
Players in the child group play with an anonymous account only. They cannot create or link an email account, cannot enter invite codes and are never counted toward an affiliate's earnings, don't see rating prompts, never send crash reports or stage statistics, and see a parent check before links that leave the game.
The only personal information handled for children is the anonymous account ID and related security data, gameplay progress and play days, used only to run, save and secure the game and to understand in totals whether it works well. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple or Google, where parents can require approval.
Parents can ask us to review or delete their child's information at any time: use Settings › Player Account › Delete account and progress on the child's device, or email support@elevationark.com. If the age was entered wrongly, contact support; please don't send identity documents.
How long we keep information
| Information | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Account and cloud progress | Until you delete the account, or 24 months after it was last used, whichever comes first |
| Play days | 30 days after your first play day; after that only anonymous totals remain |
| Daily totals (return counts, stage statistics) | 13 months. They contain no account ID. |
| Event progress and event-claim records | Until 60 days after the event ends |
| Boss Blitz times and Flock Together counts | 90 days after the event ends |
| Purchase records | Until you delete the account, and never longer than 7 years |
| Affiliate applications not approved | 12 months after the decision |
| Affiliate program records | Until the affiliate leaves the program or deletes their account. The code stays retired so no one can reuse it. |
| Commission and payout amounts | 7 years, for tax and accounting. When an account is deleted, the link to it is removed and only the amounts remain. |
| Deletion security marker | 7 days after the account is deleted |
| Database backups | 7 days |
| Server logs | 30 days (Google keeps its own required audit logs for up to 400 days) |
| Support emails | 12 months after your request is resolved |
Deleting data
- Delete your account: Settings › Player Account › Delete account and progress. Google and Apple accounts confirm with Google or Apple instead of a password, and deleting revokes the game's Sign in with Apple access. If you no longer have the game, see Delete an account.
- Delete only this device's data: Settings › About & Support › Delete local progress. This doesn't delete your cloud account.
- On Android, game data is excluded from cloud backup.
Game rules
- Coins, event tokens (such as shells, eggs and stars), passes and cosmetics are Virtual Content under section 5 of the Terms of service. Leftover event tokens convert into coins when the event ends, as described in the game.
- Players 13 and older may enter one invite code per account, within 14 days of first playing, for a one-time reward. You can't use your own code.
- Use Restore purchases in the Premium shop to restore the supporter pack on the same game account. Its bonus coins and passes are granted once per game account.
Affiliate program
Creators aged 18 and older with a signed-in account (email, Google or Apple) can apply in the game. Affiliates give us the name they go by, a contact email, a channel link and audience size. Payouts go through Stripe: affiliates enter identity, tax and bank details directly on Stripe's pages, and the game never sees them. The program follows the Sir Flappicus Affiliate Terms. It isn't open yet, and payouts stay switched off until it opens.
